Hannah LeTulle, Director of Communications and Marketing, has been named a recipient of the 2026 Julie and Ben Rogers Community Service Award.

The Julie and Ben Rogers Community Service Award was established in 1979 to acknowledge faculty and staff who make a lasting impact on the Southeast Texas community through an outstanding record of service and volunteer work.

This recognition honors those who give their time and talents to the community and encourage others to volunteer. Each year four recipients, one each from Lamar University, Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT), Lamar State College-Port Arthur and Lamar State College-Orange, are chosen.

LeTulle has served as the Director of Communications and Marketing since January 2023, leading the college’s marketing, public relations, community relations and communications strategy. She oversees media relations, strategic messaging, marketing campaigns, social media, storytelling, digital communications, branding, advertising and crisis communications while working with departments across campus to support enrollment and student success.

She was integral to strengthening LIT’s community impact by helping partner employee volunteers with the ROAR Reading initiative at Pietzsch-MacArthur Elementary and put together an LIT route with Nutrition and Services for Seniors Meals on Wheels and serves as a weekly volunteer.

Beyond her work at LIT, LeTulle has been active in her community by serving as a board member of the Enterprise Empty Stocking Fund since October 2024, a member of the Rotary Club of Beaumont since April 2019, a board member of the Press Club of Southeast Texas since January 2023 and was a 40 Under 40 Honoree in 2024.

Julie and Ben Rogers Community Service Award Honorees were recognized at a ceremony at the Lamar University Wayne A. Reaud Building on October 7, 2026.
