LIT to Host Annual Trunk-or-Treat

Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT) will host their annual Trunk-Or-Treat event from 5-7 p.m. on October 27, in the U-drive located in front of the college's Cecil Beeson building, 855 E. Lavaca St.

LIT welcomes all current and prospective students, alumni and members of the community to attend this family-friendly event.

“I’m really excited for us to host Trunk or Treat because it gives us an opportunity to bring our campus and the surrounding community together in a fun, family-friendly environment,” said Sam Hutson, Student Life Coordinator. “This allows us to build meaningful connections with the community, welcome families onto our campus and create positive experiences that extend beyond our students and into the community we serve.”

This event will feature 20 decorated trunks filled with candy, drinks, music and participation from other community partners. Everyone is encouraged to wear costumes.
