The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) Automated Student and Adult Learner Follow-Up System (ASALFS) tracks graduates, completers, and non-returners from an academic year for employment and/or additional education. ASALFS results are provided for Texas public community, state, and technical colleges.

ASALFS Definitions

Students Pursuing Additional Education report shows where an institution's students transfer to a college or university the following fall; aggregated by academic, technical, tech-prep or continuing education (CEU graduates only). If the institution is listed as a transfer location on its own report, the student count represents graduates or completers who have returned to pursue additional education at the same institution.

LIT Students Pursuing Additional Education:

Texas Education Code §51.403 requires that "postsecondary institutions shall report student performance during the first year enrolled after graduation from high school to the high school or junior college last attended. This report shall include, but not be limited to, appropriate student test scores, a description of developmental courses required, and the student's grade point average." The Transfer Students' Success report reflects the performance of community college students in the first year after they transferred to a 4-year institution, including the persistence in the second year of study.
