Culinary Arts Certificate Program

The Culinary Certificate Program is typically structured as an intensive, immersive experience, spanning a duration of 9 months.  Students will acquire a solid foundation in fundamental cooking techniques, including knife skills, food preparation, and various cooking methods. They will also explore the theoretical aspects of culinary arts, including ingredient selection, flavor profiles, food safety, and nutrition. Upon successful completion of the Culinary Certificate Program, graduates will be well-prepared for entry-level positions in various culinary settings, including restaurants, hotels, catering services, and more.

Culinary Arts - Certificate

The Culinary Certificate Program is 15 semester credit hours and includes technical courses such as Fundamentals of Baking, Basic Food Preparation, and Hospitality Supervision. You must earn a grade of "C" or better in all recommended program of study courses. Any Culinary student who does not must repeat the course.
