BEAUMONT — Because of continued below-freezing temperatures and widespread power outages across the area, LIT is canceling remote instruction and work through Wednesday, February 17. 
 
Normal operations & classes are expected to resume on Thursday, February 18, dependent on weather-related conditions.
 
The college advises all students and employees to stay safe and use their own judgment when making decisions regarding their personal safety and returning to class or work.
