LIT Foundation receives $50,000 in scholarships from PVF Roundtable

BEAUMONT – Lamar Institute of Technology was one of five technical schools to receive $50,000 in funding for student scholarships from the PVF Roundtable Charitable Foundation at its quarterly dinner meeting this week. Since 2019, PVF Roundtable has donated over $189,000 to LIT.
The funds will assist with tuition and fees for eligible students interested in the pipefitting industry. Within that field, LIT offers Industrial Mechanics, Instrumentation Technology and Welding Technology.
Mandy Clayton, LIT’s Director of Development and Foundation, said, “We are very grateful for PVF Roundtable’s continued support of our students and growing Technology Program.”
