BEAUMONT – Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT) Foundation’s 2022 Scholarship Golf Tournament, sponsored by ExxonMobil, will be held at Bayou Din Golf Course on June 3. Tee times are 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Event proceeds will benefit the LIT Foundation and student scholarships.

Because of the onset of COVID in 2020, the tournament has not been held since 2019 when LIT Foundation awarded 78 recipients $80,122 in scholarships and 40 teams participated.

Foundation Director Mandy Clayton said, “This is an exciting opportunity to help a worthwhile cause while enjoying a day of friendly competition, food and fun.”
