Passing Score on the essay portion is 5 if student meets writing multiple-choice
standard. In order to be released from TMTH, students must pass the math portion
of the test or the complete developmental sequence and retest if necessary.
- A student may elect to retest according to the criteria established in the Developmental Education Plan for LIT. If scores are passing in all
areas, and the student has passed the highest level of remediation, the student
is released from TSI requirements.
- If a student’s initial test scores were above requirements stated
in #1 above, and student passed highest level of remediation in all areas
of deficiency, the student is released from TSI requirements. The student
will have completed the developmental education plan.
