The Student Services Division provides services and programs to enhance the general education and development of students, enrich the quality of student life, and support the teaching and service mission of Lamar Institute of Technology. The Office of Student Services is located in Beeson 121.

Student Services administers policies and procedures related to student life and to the rights and responsibilities that accompany student citizenship. The student code of conduct as well as important information pertaining to student life is included in the Student Handbook. Significant sections in the handbook clearly describe LIT’s policies regarding subjects such as absences, AIDS, discrimination, cheating, drugs, privacy, hazing, sexual harassment, and students’ rights. It is the student’s responsibility to be knowledgeable of established LIT policies and procedures that are contained in The Student Handbook and to comply with them.
