Scholarship awards to entering freshmen are determined by the applicant's test scores, leadership and high school class rank.

Continuing students must meet satisfactory academic progress standards as established by federal regulations for continued eligibility.

Those applying for need-based grants, loans or work-study employment must have their eligibility established by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid Form.

Applicants should have the General Financial Aid Application on file in the Student Financial Aid Office. Freshmen may be able to obtain required forms from their high school counselors or directly from the Student Financial Aid Office, P.O. Box 10043, Beaumont, TX 77710. Students currently enrolled at the Institute may obtain the forms from the Cecil Beeson Building Student Financial Aid Office. Students must reapply each year to be considered for continued assistance.
