The objective of this course of study is to prepare the student for a career as an accounting paraprofessional in business, industry, government, or public accounting. Students receive instruction in accounting concepts, computerized accounting, payroll accounting, tax accounting, managerial accounting, and spreadsheets for accounting. Individualized instruction is available in the special topic courses and in the required research papers.
