Taking an online class is more than attending a face-to-face traditional classroom prepared with textbook, pen/pencil and completed assignments. The online environment involves technical issues which include operating system and browser requirements, and a wide range of computer skills including program/file management, communication and troubleshooting. Completing assignments, submitting assignments, and communicating with your instructor and classmates are also different than the traditional classroom.

Attending the Orientation online will help you identify and prepare for the challenges presented in an online course.
