BEAUMONT – Lamar Institute of Technology will hold two financial aid seminars for current students, perspective students and the general public in the month of March.
The first seminar is scheduled for 6 p.m., March 22. A seminar on March 23 has two sessions: one is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and the second is at 6 p.m. All sessions will be held at the Multi-Purpose Center on the campus of LIT.
During the sessions, LIT Financial Aid Director Lisa Schroeder will discuss the process of applying for financial aid, how to get financial aid and how to stay eligible for financial aid. She will also discuss how dropping classes can affect financial aid benefits. Anyone who needs help filling out the FAFSA can get it at this event, also.
