BEAUMONT – Dr. Nick Fotion, professor of philosophy at Emory University in Atlanta, will speak on “Terrorism: The New World Disorder” at 7:30 p.m., Jan. 25 in the Spindletop Room on the eighth floor of the Gray Library on the campus of Lamar University.
Lamar Institute of Technology’s Homeland Security program is a co-sponsor of the free lecture, along with the Lamar University Department of English and Modern Languages, the Lamar University Honors Program and the American Democracy Project.
Fotion is the author of “War and Ethics: A New Just War Theory,” and “Moral Situations and Military Ethics: Looking Toward the Future.”
