The LIT Alumni Association strives to connect alumni to each other and LIT, while supporting the mission of the school. By joining the association you will be part of the Lamar Institute of Technology network.

• Establish and cultivate relations with alumni and friends of LIT through communication programs and services.

• Serve as the primary resource for LIT and alumni services and programs. Work with the institute to promote alumni involvement and cultivation.

• Identify, motivate and train strong alumni volunteers to raise scholarship funds and foster student recruitment for LIT.

• Encourage involvement and help recruit the next generation of LIT students.

• Promote membership in the LIT Alumni Association in the community.

• Networking opportunities

• Mentoring opportunities

• Invitation to special alumni events

• Become an active member of the alumni advisory board

• Eligible for membership at the Sheila Umphrey Recreational Sports Center
